Responsibilities

  • Provide telehealth visits to patients who are potential candidates for specialized reconstructive surgeries
  • Triage for surgeons to determine whether a patient is a candidate for a particular surgery using specific criteria provided by the surgeons
  • Order evaluative testing if required to determine candidacy
  • Compile and review testing against surgical criteria to assist surgeon in assessing whether a patient is a good candidate for surgery
  • Work with call center and scheduling team to assist in moving forward with visits or surgeries
  • Maintain accurate electronic records within the ARSA electronic medical records system
  • Become familiar with many different specialized reconstructive surgeries and their assessment protocols
  • Communicate effectively with employees and supervisor
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with surgeons to ensure prompt, compassionate, top-quality patient care
  • Work collaboratively with Credentialing department to assist in multi-state licensing

Required Skills

  • General understanding of the fields of plastic and reconstructive surgeries

  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff

  • Ability to work with patients in a telemedicine environment

  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills

Required Education

Registered Nurse Practitioner with valid NJ license. Extra licenses a bonus but not required.
