Dr. Timothy Browne is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in breast reconstruction, microvascular surgery, hernia repair, ocuplastics and rhinoplasty procedures. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Browne grew up West Chester. His father was an English Literature professor and his mother was an ICU nurse, influencing his goals to pursue a future in academics and medicine. After attending Johns Hopkins University, where he received a creative writing degree with honors, Dr. Browne went on to complete a research fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, GA. After this, he attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He then went on to a six-year Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia where he was awarded an Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society membership for his commitment to teaching and served as chief resident in his final year. Adventurous, Dr. Browne went on to study microsurgery and nerve surgery at the world’s largest and most prestigious microsurgery center, Chang Gung Memorial Medical Center, in Taipei, Taiwan.
Dr. Browne specializes in a variety of both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, from rhinoplasty to hernia repairs. His specialized fellowship training has provided him the ability to offer patients the most advanced techniques for microvascular surgery and breast reconstruction procedures. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Browne’s dedication to research has been acknowledged through his publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national conferences. He is a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), The American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM) and Americas Hernia Society (AHS).
